About 150 people participated and donated blood at a camp organised by Vasan Dental Care, which is a part of the Vasan Healthcare Group, in association with the Rotary Blood Bank, Nanganallur. The camp was held at the Vasan Dental Care, Alwarpet, in which the employees of Vasan Dental Care participated along with the public.

Vasan Dental Care Chennai’s employees formed a sizeable number of those registered. The campaign was organised in keeping with Vasan Dental Care’s commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility and its will to serve the community.

Rotary Blood Bank, Nanganallur is a major source of blood for a majority of Chennai hospitals for blood transfusions in case of emergencies. The collected blood will be used for victims of accidents, patients suffering from Thalassemia and for those undergoing surgery or cancer treatment.
