  • The aim of the Global Networking Group for Blood Donation, (GNGBD), is to develop an international network of Rotarians and others who are involved in supporting volunteer blood donations. 
    Through their association in this Rotarian Action Group they are expected to share their expertise and experience with others engaged in the same type of efforts thus promoting a fellowship of service throughout the world.  GNGBD will promote voluntary blood donation and support for local community blood centers.

Rotarian Action Group Service Activities

Board amendment to section 43.020.14 of the Rotary Code of Policies:  

  • Rotarian Action Groups are encouraged to work through the existing structure of Rotary clubs and districts to promote and support their service projects.  Rotarian Action Groups may list projects on their Web sites seeking financial support with notification to the general secretary.

No legal, financial or other obligation or responsibility on the part of RI,  districts or clubs

  • The action group understands and accepts that recognition of the existence of the group by RI in no way implies legal, financial or other obligation or responsibility on the part of RI, or any RI district or Rotary club. The action group, and its members, directors and officers shall not act on behalf of RI, or represent or imply that they have authority to act on behalf of RI and agree to comply with RI policies on the use of the Rotary Marks by Rotary Entities, as set forth by RI from time to time.

Write to become a Charter Member, as an individual, as a Rotary club or as a Rotary district. Members of Rotaract and Inner Wheel are welcome, clubs and districts. Charter lists will be open to the end of the Rotary Year 2006-07.
